Cotto responds in PR press confernce...

I'm no huge Miguel Cotto fan but i've watched his fight with Margarito several times now....I always said Margarito would win i said he would be to much for Cotto he throws to many punches and his reach would be key and it was...with that said Miguel fought Margarito all wrong!!!!! He tried to outbox Margarito by sticking and moving when he should have kept Margo in the middle of the ring and stayed in his chest he kept backing up giving Margo full extension on his punches and he got the worst of it not because he couldn't take Margo's punch but because he expended to much energy trying to move around and box truth be told i know he watches that fight and says damn man i beat myself because in my eye's he did and i wanted him to lose. The next man who makes Antonio Margarito fight going backwards or doesn't succumb to his reach (staying in the pocket) will beat him. Miguel is not done tho' he just needs a different game plan because up until the 11th round i had him ahead on the score cards. Margarito did win the battle but if they fight again he'll lose that war...remains to be seen tho i don't think he'll give Cotto a rematch

 

i was tinking this also.

think it would probably be too much of a risk for kermit the frog at the moment though, he smash up some bums before fighting world class again.

 

hope so.. probably margo is just cotto's kryptonite

 

How in the blue hell is he done as a fighter? 1 loss and that makes you useless? Then why is Pac, who has 3 losses in his career, considered the best fighter p4p right now? Why is JMM still in the top 3 p4p when he already has 4 losses? Why the hell are Ali, Leonard, Duran, Hearns, SRR, etc considered ATGs even though they have losses in their record?

Ever heard of the term "Adjustment"?

I'm sure, Cotto loses 1 fight and now his boxing career is done and over. :? He never had a aura of invinciblity, he's been down, dazed etc and still came back strong to win those fights.

Ive no axe to grind,im English and love em both,but Maro's style is poison to Cotto.
