Cotto is set to return 2/14/09 against either Clottey or Berto. The double headline with Margo fighting the same night is nixed, but the rematch still seems to be on.:good

Good matchups for Cotto. I prefer Cotto-Berto if I had my pick.

If its true he will fight Clottey most likely. Berto wont fight him.

If this is true it is BS. You telling me he comes back after a loss and gets a title fight? Give me a break. Well he better stay away from a guy who can take a punch, so I have money he will got after Berto, while Clottey fights a nobody and Paul Williams looks on from the outside.

I think that both of the fights are feasible. Berto and his team have been talking about stepping up in 2009. It just that the Clottey fight is more likely cause Arum promotes both Clottey and Cotto.

I doubt it man. Steve Forbes is his first title defense for god sakes. Any fighter after that is a step up. :-(

Either way, it's Cotto to make his way back again 100% guarantee. Berto would be a different sort of obstacle, more technical, flashier, brings power to it too, but either him or Clottey, they're not prepared to go through this sort of opponent.

I think Cotto would destroy Berto - if Stevie Forbes doesn't outslick him to a UD first.

Berto has been built upon a resume of slow and chinny opponents - Forbes has a good chin and can move well, whilst Cotto would simply whack him to the body repeatedly and beat him into submission.

Clottey will prove to be a very interesting fight.

i see cotto having a much more comfortable night if it is berto as he'll have few openings against clottey and clottey will be the bigger more physical fighter. Berto will give him more openings and chances after a loss like that to margs clottey is the last person i'd fight very tough stylistic match up

I don't think Cotto stops Clottey. Clottey is very durable. I see this going the distance. Berto is still a big question mark. I'll say this much. If Cotto stops Clottey I'll be very impressed.
