Who has beaten that makes you think that he would be able do that against Cotto??

    David Estrada? or Cosme Rivera?

look I'm just saying that Cotto lost to a guy with no boxing skills and is slow as hell. when youg et stunned by a Corley than your going to have problems with anybody. Berto is faster...am I wrong?? Cotto defense isnt great...am I wrong?? hey I'm just saying that it would be a a possiblity that Berto can drop Cotto, and it can, for sure be the other way around. but Coto just killing Berto is just stuip!! and I'm a Cotto fan guys!!!

I find it hard to believe that Berto's handlers would let him fight Cotto quite yet. Clottey-Cotto makes sense - Arum gets to keep his belts in house, and he makes Clottey happy by getting him a career-high payday.

    Good comebacks for Cotto.

I think he starts favourite over either of the two fighters, all we need now is the Cotto is protected brigade to show up.

Would love to see either of these fights.

At this point in the development curve I'll go with Cotto by entertaining 9 or 10 round TKO beat-down over Berto.

More difficult will be Clottey. Don't know who to pick in this one, but I think it goes the distance and would be a great exibition of boxer-puncher strategy.

Hope this thread ain't BS and these fights get made.

Im glad that Cotto is going to fight at least one of them when I came to think about it there's no need for a fighter of Cotto caliber to take an easy tune up.

I too think Cotto/Clottey will happen more than likely seeing as how they're both under top rank.. I'd prefer this matchup anyways over Cotto/Berto as I think it'd be more challenging.. It's nice to see Cotto getting a title shot instead of an easy tune-up after coming off a tough loss.. Clottey will be a tough test too, but I'd take Cotto by a close decision.. Clottey is much underrated if you ask me.. Either way, whoever wins has a great chance at beating Margo as both have came close.. Berto get's KO'd I think.. I wonder who'll Margo will fight that night.. Maybe Shane Mosley if he gets past Mayorga?

If true cotto would be wise to fight berto over clottey. clottey has a better chance of making cotto look bad and can ruin a potential rematch, as well as start idiodic threads on how cotto is done just because he struggled off of a top welterweight. I would have preferred him fight more of a taller (cintron) or pressure (baldimor) fighter to better prepare himself for margarito. Berto and clottey are worthy opponents just do not have the height or pressure that margarito will bring in june.

Cotto/Berto looks like a one sided beat down to me. Cotto/Clottey is a much better fight. Cotto should win, but not as easily as he would against Berto.

....................These are just POTENTIAL opponents. I doubt very seriously we see Cotto against either guy in his first fight back. Everyone involved is focused on the Margarito rematch, I'm sure.
