Judah was giving Cotto fits, I believe the low blows changed the whole tenor of the fight. Judah was not the same after them and everytime he got momentum another shot would go down south. That was completely unnecessary from Miguel since he is so much bigger than Judah.

I disagree with you regarding the last 4 rounds of the fight with Mosley. I had Mosley winning the last 3 clearly by landing the most effective shots, while Cotto "tried to play the boxer" but was mostly ineffective.

Clottey fight I had Clottey clearly winning rounds 10 and 11 because he was being the aggressor, landing the cleaner and more effective punches, and cotto was moving yet doing absolutely nothing. He would throw a flurry that was completely blocked and then get on his bike.

I saw him lean forward, but I saw him doiing that a great deal, never saw that as a sign of being rocked because of the way he reacted afterwards. If his hands had completely dropped and his head was just hanging out there, I would agree with you.

That's very true but I'm just pointing out mistakes he did that Marg took advantage of. Plaster or not Cotto welcomed those punches with the mistakes he made.

Cotto actually didn't have that, he had just one eye :think

    Let me guess

You are another boxing keyboard expert who never went in a ring and never ate a shot.

Another nuthugger making excuses for his boy not fighting smart and getting a gift decision.

Were you praising Paul Williams for the way he handled that cut when he retired Verno Phillips?

All he could do is not good enough, that's my point. There were too many mistakes that he COULD have fixed and one of them was learning to hold and twist his opponent whenever he's cornered and that's something he refused to do and would rather kneel down and welcome predictable extremely slow 3 to 4 uppercuts. Some of the mistakes he made CAN be resolved and worked on, it doesn't require a complete style change to add some better defense.

He wasn't winning the fight comfortably in my opinion, it looked like he was early but it was also obvious Margarito was getting to him and started to stun/hurt him as the fight kept going. He just doesn't do good when under pressure in there and that can be fixed if he learns to hold or move his head better.

    ?

I did bet money on Clottey you fool. I personally had the fight 114-113 but have no problem if you give it to Clottey. It's true that Cotto didn't fight the smartest and had the same strategy that he had for the Margarito fight, but he was also in kind of survival mode because that eye was clearly bothering him. We will never know his real strategy until there is a rematch. Clottey had the fight almost served in a plate but didn't do enough to win very clearly. That's it.

funny how this guy is bashing on cottos ring IQ, not only did he come out victorious, but beat clottey basically with one eye... wow pretty scary to me if cotto had a good ring IQ what would happend to his opponents... hes only 34-1?-27 by the way with many of the true and most avoided welterweights, what about their ring IQ:patsch
