Now this sounds like the Cotto his and boxing fans have come to know and respect. He put up a hell of a fight and needs to realize that he did himself and his fans proud.

Get some rest, come fight a ranked guy like Vanes, KTFO the dude and move on.

People are getting confused between "being competitive" *& "winning" a round.

Cotto was competitive throughout, & for that I give him credit.

He had his moments in pretty much every round, but to say it was anything other than a CLEAR Mayweather victory is crazy.

This is why I respect Cotto so much. No excuses. No bitterness. Gave it his all. Didn't come out with the win. Live to fight another day. The man deserves all the praise he gets. I hope this fight does huge numbers because that will be more money in his pocket. Well deserved.

^ I agree with this. I originally scored it 8-4 for Mayweather, but I was being quite generous to Cotto. Had it wider on the second watch.

Good to hear this, I didn't think it was a whipe out like some people claim and the judges had it, but on the other hand Cotto can't really even argue for a draw. It was a good perfomance for both guys but Mayweather deserves this victory without any controversy.

He put on a good performance and he deserves a rematch or a shot at another belt. Miguel earned my respect.
