He will probably concentrate on the balls more

Although he might be on his bike most of the time to steak the rounds

it says that Joe Santiago has put his stamp on the Cotto style and that although he was always part of the team his added responsibilites are welcome. He thanks the Cotto family and feels that he has added some new wrinkles in the Cotto style, that should be evident come Saturday.

Well its nothing drastic and hopefully what we will see are some improvements defensively. The ferocity I believe will still be there as it is an integral part of Cotto's natural style.

I wonder what new style he's talking about?
Cotto should throw quick combos to Clottey's rib cage and head and move away. Combination and move away. That way he'll leave Clottey far behind on the scorecards.

I think he will box more and improved his defense so as not to take so many punches?

He says he'll be trying to get Clottey out of there in three rounds.
I think if Cotto tries to pressure Clottey that will only give the african an unnecessary advantage.. I hope Cotto is only saying this for publicity purposes.

The main change is that he won't be eating plaster anymore.

If Cotto wants to pressure him and get him out of there in 3 that is a terrible strategy. Clottey is a defensive wiz and that's playing into his hands.

Maybe Cotto's going back to the aggressive style he was known for rather than his counter-punching/movement style. Not a good idea if that is what he means (IMO)

Clottey is made of steel, but his workrate will cost him the fight. Cotto UD, unless Clottey steps it up, in which case we will find out whether the Margarito fight really has had a detrimental effect on Miguelito.
