I pretty much agree with you.

    He definitely loses to Mayweather.

He probably loses again to Paquiao.

He might lose again to Margarito, and if you put a gun to my head I'd pick against him even though I'd be rooting like hell for him.

    He most likely batters Chavez.

Cotto TKOs Chavez JR and Sr. within 8
    Cotto TKOS Margo in 10
    Cotto UDs Mayweather
    Cotto SDs Pacquiao

2011 is year of Miguel Cotto

I think he fights Chavez Jr or marg for his first fight next year. Beating Yuri Foreman and being inactive for the rest of the year doesn't prepare you for any of the elites, let alone Floyd Mayweather or emmanuel.

Damn I like MC, but your on crack.

Pac will KO him again, Mayweather outclasses him for a decision, but yeah, I think he'd beat Margs if the commisioners office keeps an eye on his wraps.

Cotto has balls of highly forged steel.

Top 10 if he beats Mayweather and Pacquiao...these are the two best fighters of our decade.

    Cotto CAN do it.
    He CAN also lose.

So it depends what the gameplan is.

    Its all mental for Cotto.
Physically he has the skills, may not have the speed or power, but he's an all around fighter, very well balanced. I believe in him. Cotto should face Chavez Jr. He should knock him out, then face Margarito, then go for Berto before he facts Pacqiuao and Mayweather. I may want Cotto to fight Khan too before Pacman and Mayweather.

    2010 - Chavez Jr.
    2011 - Margarito/Berto/Khan
    2012 - Pacqiuao/Mayweather
2013 - Hall of Fame, just retire.

He'd whoop Chavez, but I don't think he can beat Pac or Margo. These would be good rematches though with all three fighters having something to prove. Cotto obviously to avenge his losses, Pac to shut up the haters who say Cotto was weight drained at 145, and Margo to prove it wasn't the plaster that busted up Cotto's face the first time.

He deserves to beat Pacquiao too. I wouldn't mind seeing him stop Pac's freight train (although I'll admit it's unlikely). Manny's already had his incredible glory. Cotto still has yet to be as big as Trinidad. If Pac shows some signs of being sluggish at 150(ish), I give Cotto a pretty decent chance of winning a rematch. I know styles make fights but Cotto's always been a guy who responds well to adversity. Having Steward in his corner doesn't hurt either. As for Marg and Jr, I'd love to see Cotto mop them up too.

I actually think Cotto deserves another beating against Pacquiao. For trying to diminish Pac's wins over DLH and Hatton saying Oscar was weight drained and Hatton was always overrated. I always liked Cotto before I heard him say that, saw him as a humble fighter, but he did say it like a Malignaggi-type chump and deserves another ass whooping.

Oh shut the **** up :patsch God forbid someone points out the ****ing obvious about just some the opposition of the P4P #1 fighter in the world. Poor ****ing Manny. How does Pacquiao sleep at night from the furious taunting of Cotto's malicious and forever-altering attacks on his legacy? Let's just throw Cotto into that lawsuit and petition for another assbeating for his inescapable and cowardly cherry-picking, since that's what Cotto is all about.

  15. Cotto's a pretty ungrateful *******, too.

Pac took his foot off the gas in the late rounds and didn't look like he wanted to hit Cotto anymore. At one point, Pac stopped dead in his tracks and looked to Bayless for help. The fight should have been stopped in the 9th, and I think Pac felt bad that it didn't.
