Today in El Nuevo Dia Cotto said he would make some changes in his preparation and for now his team will remain intact.
Also, that he respects the Ref's decision, however at no time was he seriously hurt and he feels fine...just inflamation around the eyes after the fight that he wasn't hurt.
According to him he will hang it up when he turns 30 which is next year in Oct.

Who do you think he should fight next ?
It appears he has about two more fights planned at best.

I would like to see a rematch at the legit 147 LB. or a fight with Mayweather !

Cotto doesn't realize that his "team," is his downfall. He has no good trainer.

I agree with you, he needed a trainer to take him to the next level, but I'm afraid its a little late for that.

Naziim would be a great choice, along with emanuel stweard, but I for one feel that Freddy Roach would be the man to bring Cotto back and make him a force again. Im not saying this to hop on the bandwagon but I have listened to many old podcasts with freddy roach interviews and hes been asked what he thinks about cotto, and he always praises hi but says he see's fundamental mistakes and untrained areas that he could fix and make cotto that much better.

he can be. if he doesnt let his pride do the talking. i regard him as a technically skilled fighter, he just lets his warrior mentality get to him that is why he lost few of his fights.

why you do not trust your own boricua brother?
