I don't know why any of you believe this. How many times has Arum held the ticket out for Cotto in the past and pulled it away? He uses Cotto purposely and I think Cotto has finally had it with that. Of course Cotto is saying this, but I guarantee a 100% he knows Arum is a liar and a baiter and uses him and can't be trusted. He's probably not holding his breath.

That's why he wants out of the contract, Arum promised him paydays but never got him anything. Last year with DLH, he negotiated Pac-DLH behind the scenes while speaking out in public it was going to be DLH-Cotto in December. DLH saying he would fight Cotto if he won but he didn't want to fight Margarito because he wasn't worth it. Margarito started getting mad about that and said he would force DLH to fight him by defeating Cotto. Then the truth came out the week of Cotto-Margarito, Arum said in press conference if Cotto won, he would fight Clottey later in 2008 in PR. Margarito won, possibly cheated and got nothing from it either. He's doing it again. I believe Arum knows Cotto wants to get the **** away from him, so he pulls this little trick again weeks before Clottey fight, so he can **** him over again, get the opponent motivated to "try to ruin these fake plans" and get Cotto defeated and laugh all the way to the bank again. Cotto will never get a payday from Bob Arum because......he doesn't like him. Cotto really personally I'm sure hates him. The Margarito handwrap defending scandal was the last straw. That's why he spoke up. In this way, I can see what Mayweather said all along about Arum being true, that's why he doesn't enjoy working with him. Cotto would be better going with King who respects PR fighters more and has had great relations with Trinidad.

If this happens at 147 and Pac beats him, where would you rank him ATG? Not that I think he would, I reckon Cotto stops him inside 5.

This is ridiculous, cmon i like pacquiao but he has no business at 147 with elite 147lb'ers. However judging by pacquiaos recent performances whos to say he cant carry his power up to 147? Cotto has been hurt on numerous occasions. I think though if the fight gets made at 147 pbf will want to fight pac there as well which is not good for pacquiao. I'm still waiting to see what roach has to say about this.

Also if Pacquiao is going to be ringside I expect Bobby Pacquiao to be on the undercard too.

How about Cotto's brother against Pacman's brother. They're both lightweights should make a great preview.

Guy that comes in at 160 ducking Pacquiao. :rofl

A few months ago, Cotto would be laughed out of the country for saying that he wants Pacquiao. Now he's praised for it!

Anyways, if the fights at a catchweight Cotto's going to look like he did at the end of his Light Welter reign:

He NEEDS to have it at 147 lest he wants to look like a zombie again.
