Mosley isn't a slow puncher not saying you said he was. I didn't say speed always works but it does in certain situations as for Judah's uppercut in the Cotto fight.

I promise you my dude, I knew you were going to come into this thread and disprove that myth that the ref put a pause on the fight to "save" Cotto from Mosley in the 10th round.:good

Some guys on this forum laughed when I stated in the past that Zab Judah's left hand is in the same realm as Mosley power-wise.

Cotto's chin has been suspect for as long as I can remember.

It's called an opinion Kangaroo Jack. We all know that Shane needs the payday. Shane might believe his own bull crap for the first few rounds, but once it's clear that he can't get to Floyd, and after Floyd gives him a steady diet of counter-punching leather, I think that Shane will start looking to survive instead of looking to win.

If you disagree, that's cool. But no need to go overboard. I don't even know what marry up means. Time to switch to decaf homie.

Cotto back peddles in fights he is winning easily and obviously when he is seriously hurt, its just something he does out of habit. But that gif image clearly shows that it was Mosley who asked the ref to put a pause on the fight, so that automatically dismantled your bull**** conspiracy theory that was in your first post.

And again the gif shows that it was Mosley who asked for the fight to be paused when he pointed to the mat. And if the "flurry" was really on its way, some water on the mat ain't gonna stop Mosley from throwing it. And by the way Cotto clearly won the 11th round. I gave Mosley rounds 2,3,10,12. With the 8th round I believe being close to a toss up round but I still thought Cotto won that 8th round.

Shane Mosley has never in his career - outside of the drubbing he took in the first Forrest fight - looked to just survive. He is the epitome of a champion and always fights to win and always tries to close the show. Floyd is in for a rude awakening in this fight. He's not fighting a mentally unbalanced Zab Judah - but an adaptable fighter that can punch with both hands and has an indomitable will to win.

40 have tried and 40 have failed. I think that Shane is the most difficult fight for Floyd out there right now because of his overall skill set and boxing ability. However, I don't think that Shane brings anything new or different to the table that Floyd has not seen or handily dealt with before. Can you tell me what Mosley can or will do that will somehow be different than what Floyd has faced?

I would suggest Mosley's size and strength coupled with his speed.

He's not the fastest, but he hits harder than Baldomir who was the biggest fighter that Floyd has fought and Shane is a more aggressive fighter than Oscar.

I think Richardson will have a couple of plans laid out too and Shane has a great, great chin and can stick to a gameplan - I'm just happy Floyd is finally testing his skills at 147 against a threat.
