Exactly. Most KOs come based on situation, punches you don't see coming or don't expect hurt the most.
Mosley ain't beating Mayweather as much as it sucks. Mosley hasn't beaten a good boxer in years. Too old, too late. PERIOD!
Cotto wouldn't know about Mosley's current power because by his own admission he hits harder than ever due to newfound training methods. Mosley doesn't train with heavy weights during training camp now (like he did for the Cotto fight) and he has seen a big improvement in his punching power. Judging by the Margarito knockout, his statements seem to be true. I believe Mosley simply because Fedor Emelianenko has stated the same exact thing about how when he stopped training with heavy weight he has gained more knockout power. And if you saw Fedor's last fight (or hell, any of his fights) you know he has some pop. So Cotto wouldn't know in my opinion. But I do agree that Mosley offers nothing that Floyd hasn't seen before. Floyd beat a bigger, agressive fighter in De La Hoya so Mosley with his smaller size and agressiveness won't be a problem for Floyd. As for his power: A) you can't hurt what you can't hit and B) Floyd does have a good chin believe it or not and it will last the entire fight easily. On a side note, who is the guy in San Rafael's avatar?
:dealJudah had excellent power and used more angles than Mosley. Also, when Miguel fought Judah, he was coming forward most of the time, so it was easier for someone especially of Judah's speed to find Cotto and catch him coming in, while with Mosley, this was not the case when Cotto surprised me with avoiding most exchanges with Mosley and boxing him from a distance with his jab, but he did win some of those exchanges with beautiful short punch combinations. But for the most part, Cotto wasn't stalking Mosley like he was Judah, which was a brilliant tactic and the smart thing to do, because if he went toe to toe the whole fight with Mosley it could of been a different outcome.
Actually, Mosely almost busted his ass on that water... It's a sequence I have used wrongfully, countless times in my rants against Cotto. But one day I realy looked at it and saw that it was Shane who almost slipped and then he stopped and pointed down at the water.
