Williams is more than willing to fight Cotto. They could make this fight for February or March of 2009.

Who should he fight? Cotto has beat Quintana, Mosley, and Judah at Welter, and has lost to Margo. Williams beat Margo and Quintana, and was turned down by Judah and Mosley. Again, he has a HBO date for Nov., who should he fight?

Cintron doesn't want to fight Williams. He's coming off a knock out loss. He needs a confidence builder. No way should he get a title shot coming off a knockout loss anyway. Quintana is fighting a comeback fight in October and he's already fought him in his last two fights. I'll ignore the smartass remarks about Kolle and Spider Rico.

I do like the idea of him fighting Clottey in Nov. Now that Margo is not going to fight him, he's free. A unification bout between those two would make sense for Nov. Of course, Arum claims he can't work with Goosen or Haymon. Let's hope he gets over it. That would be a good fight.

Please PW lost his title in his first defense.. his precious title ..

Cintron is a two time WW titleist and a top ten ranked WW...

Jennings is his mando. He'll have to fight him eventually. Why not get it out of the way if there are no big fights out there? Anyway, I can't believe you said Rivera. Cosme was dusted off by Berto. HBO wouldn't even approve that fight. The same with Rodriguez and Lujan. I like Lujan, but he's an ESPN fighter. HBO will shoot that down. He tried to fight Collazo. There wasn't enough money to satisfy Collazo. Please, Castillo? Castillo is done, he said he would retire if he lost to Lujan. No way in hell would HBO approve that.

I like the Clottey fight. I see no problem with that one. Just as long as Arum can put aside his so called differences with Goosen and Hayon. The fight at MW is a tuneup fight on Vs. I have no idea why it's being criticised. Theres not enough money to get a big name, and again, it's a stay busy fight. He's fighting again in Nov for crying out loud.

Probably not gonna happen. Too much risk for too little reward, and Top Rank/Bob Arum won't have any of it.

You're not getting it. No way will Cintron fight WIlliams at this time. Get on Cintron's case, not Williams. Cintron is one loss away from being an "opponent". Fighting Williams would be a stupid move on his part. Cintron does not want to fight Williams.

He still had a win under his belt. Furthermore, that was Williams' 5th choice. Cintron pulled out and didn't want to reschedule. Margo was focused on Cotto. Mosley said no. Judah said he was injured. Quintana is not bad for a 5th choice.
