Cotto should have two defeats on his record cause Mosley beat him

    I watched the replay of the Mosley/Cotto fight before the Cotto/Margo fight and I had Shane winning that fight 6 rounds shane 5 rounds Miguel and 1 round draw,I actually thought Cotto won the fight but after seeing it again there is no way Cotto won that fight and just like the fight with Margo he backpeddled the entire fight at least the second half and he wrestled Shane..In my opinion I think Miguel got a gift in that fight Shane was a victim of the HBO hype machine that night just another pawn in the game. :?

    cotto clearly won that fight. he only moved backward after the 9th and still he landed the cleaner shots. come on man, backward the whole fight??

    Honestly, I was really hoping shane would pull it off, but cotto did win that fight. He outboxed shane for the last couple of rounds even though Shane was the aggresor.

    Not only that, but why do people post their scores and say "I had __ round a draw"

    You can't have rounds that are draws unless there are knockdowns/ point deductions involved.

    I gave Cotto the fight by a point. I thought the jab was a big difference.

    See your point;I thought Shane just nicked it too,but as Shane is near the end of his career and Cotto is their young and future superstar,guess who gets the nod in a close-fight.
    I know it was close,but those close rounds and crucial points here and there werent going to go to Shane .

    So...you thought he won, then had him one round away from a draw, and are now saying "no way he won that fight" and that it's a "gift". What a ****ing crock. You're just dumping on him now because he lost. You wouldn't be making this post if he'd have won.

    You can score rounds even.

    You have been listening to Lederman too much who insists on picking a winner.

    How you could give the ninth in Marg vs Cotto to either fighter just seems *******s - it was as even a round as I have seen for years.

    Maybe you're right I probably would not be making the post if Cotto had beat Margo but I think Shane pulled that fight out but it was very close and I did not have a problem with them giving Cotto the decision until I saw that replay and Cotto swept all score cards it was closer then the judges had it..I am not disrespecting Cotto are his fans I just believe Shane did not get his due in that fight.
