Cotto should step in to fight Canelo

    Canelo should do a high risk low reward fight if he wants to deserve the Cotto fight.

    I think what Canelo's manager was trying to say is if Canelo gets out of his September date unscathed, then they'd be willing to fight Cotto later this year. But November does seem like a quick turn around...I could see December, though.

    I saw the fight. Cotto did pretty well upto round 8. In round 9
    Margarito turned the fight around, connecting more punches and Cotto looked exhausted about to be ko. If the fight had not being stopped, margo was on his way to ko Cotto once again, this time without plaster.

    Why should Alvarez fight a guy who only won one round in his last fight? For those of you who are too slow. I'm talking about Cotto.

    I'd much rather see Cotto than Kirkalnd who'll get sparked fosho. Trout would be much better than Kirkland too and Trout would be a very live underdog. I'd pick Trout actually.

    Canelo would be put to test by Miguel....and he will fail. No way he beats Cotto, not if he is ready like he was for FMJr.
