That is a mistake in the ring. You're supposed to go after someone when they're hurting.

Exactly. I'm 100% positive he did this. Anyone thinking Cotto was being careful is a freaking idiot. Foreman has no power as it is, now he's barely able to stand upright. He can't even pivot on his punches to get power on them. Cotto is being careful? Of freaking what? Are you people for real?

The only way in which what Cotto did is stupid, is that now he has to deal with people thinking it took him a round and a half to take out a guy on one leg, and not like 15 seconds.

This was more like a tune-up. Arum always sets them up so nicely.

He's done it before, I remember him looking at the ref during a round in the Gomez fight as if to say "Come on, stop this!"

dont know cant watch the fight more then once.
Cotto knows that guy was a fraud of a champ, he couldnt hurt him, why get tired and take a punch going after the kill when its a matter of time before hes broken down and wont be able to continue. I love watching people break down other fighters. KOS are great, but I love to watch some one gets broken

Cotto is a great example to follow, very professional and a true gentleman. He would have been patient with anyone even Pacquito. i.e. He hasn't even argued his only two loses as "questionable" (Margo's wraps or Pacquiao's drug use). A true Warrior.

He was afraid of the incoming right hand that Foremen was landing at will.

If you want to know about Cotto's sportsmanship just look at the Zab Judah fight.

Cotto is still an excellent fighter but he hasn't had the dog in him for quite some time. There were times he was on top of Clottey and backed off when nothing was coming back at him.

This. Some of the most sportsmanlike fighters I've seen were terrific finishers. Floyd Patterson and Joe Louis would be a fine example there.

didnt you notice the U tattoo on cotto??? unloading on Forman who was defenseless after an injury would not have been kosher.
