Yeah, keep saying that when Cotto gives up the belt to him after this fight. Oh wait... no he won't because he's getting knocked out by Canelo.

"What do you think of a GGG fight?"

    "Ahhhhhh. . . ."

Doug Fischer gave a play-by-play of their entire sparring session in an article. Overall, he said Golovkin was way too much for him and rocked him multiple times.

And that video disputes that article. Just because Fischer gave a play by play doesnt make it fact, everyone has different stories for sparrign session. Also keep in mind that Canelo was 20, and GGG was 27, if Canelo really did get rocked which I'm doubting, he also got rocked by cotto's brother at that age. Also where did Fischer say he was way too much for him? WHen I read the round by rounds, it didn't play out that way at all. Is the GGGfan exaggerating again? And is the GGG fan going to act like what Fischer said are facts because it favors GGG?

:lol: what are you even going on about. You're getting mad at Cotto for taking a way bigger fight (a 40m payday), and a way better name who has far better wins, but you dont criticize GGG at all for not wanting to fight someone who is a bigger payday, and a WAY better win. Lemieux is a 100% scrub and useless win compared to Ward.

No, I'm not. I'm actually ecstatic he's taking on Canelo.

    1) Because it's a fantastic fight
    2) Because the WBC Belt will finally go to Canelo who's not afraid of fighting the #1 guy at 160

I was just joking around because Cotto is scared to fight GGG.

Canelo won't fight GGG anytime soon. He would need at least 2-3 fights at the full 160 before he fights at that weight, remember Canelo is still extremely young.

Because you're on Canelo's team. ok, thanks for the inside scoop.

    My opinion, we'll see Canelo/GGG in 2016.

You think Canelo will just jump to 160 without taking some tune-ups? LOL, i guess a new fan would assume this. He's fighting Cotto at 155 ffs, he's clearly not going to just jump up to 160.

People make too much of sparring sometimes, especially for real professional minded guys like Canelo and GGG. Its work, its practice. I recall seeing an interview somewhere where Golovkin actually had pretty high praise for Canelo's talent.

The only thing you can really take from a broad reading of the various GGG sparring tales, is that Canelo is more talented than Quillin and Angulo etc. But I think we all already knew that.

So he's fighting Cotto at MW, and he's clearly not going to just jump to MW? Ok lulz.

You think Golovkin will just jump to 168 without taking some tune-ups? LOL, i guess a new fan would assume this. He's fighting Lemieux at 160 ffs, he's clearly not going to just jump up to 168.

    :yep

He's fighting Cotto at 155  you idiot. I'm saying he's not going to jump to the full 160 without tuneups.

Also GGG is the one whos aid he's willing to fight anyone from 154-168, so why would he need tune-ups? Did Canelo call everyone out from 147-160?

He won't have a choice. If he'll want to keep his title, he'll have to fight Golovkin.

He'll probably vacate and rematch Cotto for the bigger payday.

Maybe, but Canelo strikes me as the type of fighter who'll take up any challenge so unless there's a huge demand for the rematch, I can totally see him moving up and fighting Golovkin straight away rather than vacating.

Let's hope he does, I want Golovkin to get a fight with one of these two ASAP and then he can move up!
