He threw everything in the 8th and got tired in the championship rounds. But with his ability, if he had the stamina, it could have been a draw

true sign of why boxing is full of ****....rematches are being made not because they are competitive or there is a revenge factor but because they think they can sell it as "must seetv ". reminds me of when pac took on shane...and i had to watch all these 24/7 garbage build ups, appearances and hear what shane was gonna do , when i knew he wouldnt win a damn round and so did the promoters..but he still had a name people knew....

A shot Cotto pushed Floyd to the limit.

Now we know why Floyd retired the first time.

Of course he looked fast against Margo, shift I look fast against Margo too, and of course he looked slow against Floyd, it's Floyd, but even though I think a rematch isn't needed I wouldn't mind watching the fight again

Floyd vs Cotto 2, 3, 4 and however many is better than Floyd vs Guerrero. It's better than Cotto vs K9 too. Cotto vs Kirkland would be cool. Besides Canelo, what opponent is really credible now for both besides Manny?

Not sure who Cotto faces next, but I highly doubt it will be Mayweather again this year.. I just can't see them trying to justify the fight being that close... Mayweather has only taken 1 rematch and it was because the fight was extremely close, unlike this one. Cotto needs to find a new opponent at 154 for his December fight, don't want to see a rematch with anyone he's already fought.

Ha,some of the posts on this thread are hilarious,Cotto won at best 3 or 4 rounds, mayweather won fairly easy, pointless rematch..

Why... Floyd won it clearly.... maybe if Cotto was more active he would've done better... Floyd gets him better in a rematch though.
