Cotto taking rest of year off

I thought it's Chavez Jr. who doesn't want to fight, what the hell. I was looking forward to Cotto vs. Cintron as I'm one of the few who think Kermit is a very live underdog, too bad Top Rank probably came to the same conclusion.

Well, here's my suggestion how to fill in the HBO void: Gamboa-John main event, Canelo vs. good welterweight undercard, and put Vanes in vs. Lara for Chrissakes, too much talk from Martirosyan.

 

Top Rank probably thought Chavez Jr was being rushed up too quickly and that Cintron doesn't bring anything to the table and would be a meaningless win.

 

Cotto bangs all the time.....he deserves a break...been through some tough ones.

 

I have a feeling Cotto is going to shock us and announce retirement after the holidays.

Miguel Cotto can't fight this year because the soonest he can start tarining for a fight is at the end of the year. He's still recovering from a shoulder surgery.

He's probably taking the year off to spend the holidays with his family and relax instead of beginning a training camp.

 

Please stop using Floyd bumweathers "in house" term for top rank, Floyd has only fought in house for years now !

So we went from Cotto-Chavez & Nonito-Montiel to Chavez-Wolak and Martiroysan vs bum.
