Mayweather in his prime with 8-oz gloves and not at a weight disadvantage would've Knocked Cotto the **** out, its not rocket science. And while I'm no *******, he would've lost to Pac as well. Now if Pac were to fight Cotto today at 154 with 10-oz gloves, my money would be on Cotto.

 

Well if you mean Floyd fights the undefeated Cotto of 2007/08 then I say it goes to a decision win for Floyd along the lines of 9-3.

 

A 35 yr old Mayweather giving up lots of weight and Wearing 10 oz gloves got that type of decision and nearly stopped Cotto, despite being much small and wearing those big gloves, you take away those 2 factors and Cotto gets KO'd.

 

Well if we're talking their best at welterweight, which is Floyd in 2007 against Hatton and Cotto in 2007 against Judah/Mosley with 8oz gloves then the fight would still be like their 2012 fight in a 9-3 ud win for Money May.

 

we'll never know, that cotto under diaz though would have been real interesting to see.

Nah. Cotto is a great fighter, but he's always had his vulnerabilities and limitations. Pacquiao beat the **** out of him, the fight wasn't close, so I see no reasoning that could justify a two-years-younger Cotto reversing that.
