Cotto there for the taking, Khan would do a great number on him..

Was watching the Floyd-Cotto and noted a few things:

Cotto has trouble countering fast hand speed.

Cotto even having trouble cutting off a slow moving Floyd.

Cotto power don't seem anything dangerous.

Seems to throw wild swings over hands with his head down alot.

Workrate quite low, not working off his good jab as much as he should be.

I think Khan's handspeed, reach, Jab, movement(speed of moving around the ring) Cotto is very hittable and headmovement is not even there. I think Khan at 147 does a good number on this current version of Cotto.

A slowed down of Floyd toyed this guy and even carried him at times, Floyd even choose to stay on the ropes, and take a few shots.

Cotto puts in a SUPERB performance against Floyd, exhibiting a range of skills that would prove the EXACT opposite to what youre saying in terms of how he matches up against Khan.

Then again you post is so ridiculous im not sure if you are trolling

Cotto has good timing but looks too slow vs decent speed, has trouble getting off without taking too much in return.

Is Khan same guy who couldn't deal with Peterson on inside?. Let him just walk in and bang to body and head?. Oh i suppose Lamont was on PEDs so that means that wouldn't happen against a more skilled and harder puncher. Peterson walked in straight lines and Khan couldn't do anything to stop him coming forward. Cotto's defence against Floyd was excellent IMO. Countering Khan? Why does he have to when he can walk him down and break him?. He probably would catch Khan with some counters. Khan at times falls out of position against lesser fighters so Cotto could find openings and be sharp enough to tag him.

Same Khan who struggled to hit Paul McCloskey clean for best part of 6 rounds BTW. Different styles yes but levels apart.

No he didnt. Floyd was throwing that right hand to the side of cottos head like he was trying to take it off.

Cotto may not have won many rounds, but a lot of his good work was ignored imo and he made floyd fight for the first time in years.

Cotto has a great jab and fantastic footwork and would get inside of Khan early, easy and often.

Just when things were going well and I was starting to tolerate Amir, one of his loyal fangirls open their trap and make me savagely hate him again.

Khan won't keep making the same mistakes in going back striaght, vs Cotto perfect plan would be to keep circling him left and right, shame Khan spent whole camp ad******g to pressure wanted to see outcome of that vs Peterson rematch.

Cotto is slow on his feet, plus waits to counter and not reckless pressure like Maidana and Peterson who were quite happy to take shots coming in, Cotto thinks and that's enough time for Khan to land and move.

Being a good effort from Peterson, I think Khan won that fight even with deductions, and that says something, Peterson did not win more than 3 or 4 rounds.
