Cotto to attend Canelo vs Lopez fight. Eyes 5 de Mayo fight!

yeah hope cotto and canelo put up good performances and we get the fight.

 

Smart move by Cotto.

 

This fight is an inevitability. Hopefully Lopez doesn't spoil the show.

 

Cotto shouldn't overlook Trout, just as Canelo shouldn't underestimate Lopez (I don't think Canelo has underestimated him, but I'll have to wait until Saturday to find out.)

I can't wait for this fight. Canelo by TKO in the 10th or 11th round of a war. The winner probably gets a crack at Floyd in September 2013.

Me too, I like Cotto, I like his style and his attitude, but you never know. Trout could definitely spoil and stink out the joint en route to an SD win. In general, I always think its risky when a fighter shows up to the fight of a guy they're scoping out as a future opponent when they have a scheduled fight coming up. I'd want my focus to be 100% on whoever is my next opponent. If I was a boxer, I'd only go to fights when I didn't have an upcoming fight/if they were nowhere near my weight class.

 

This fight seemed inevitable and May 4 next year makes the most sense. Cotto has to beat Trout and Alvarez has to beat Lopez and whoever he fights in Dec but I think they will come through ok.

I think whoever wins this will look to fight Mayweather in Sept of next year.

 

I've been wanting to see this fight for the longest...Hopefully both can fufill their obligations and the fans can get the fight we've wanted.

 

They going to pay off Trout.

 

**** I dont know if he can beat trout but now I hope he does.. if he rocks trout Alvarez better bring his A game. But I have a feeling its gonna be a cotto hard fought decision instead of a domination.
