Cotto will be facing a different beast from the one-dimensional Pacman who twice KOd Morales and defeated JMM in two close fights.:good

Diaz was not even expected to be a minor speed bump.

DLH was expected to actually weigh more, not less than Pac.

And Hatton. Few thought Hatton would win.

i expect Pac to win though. Although he still has yet to take a really flush shot above 135.

The more I think about this fight, the more I think it'll be a one sided beating in favour of Cotto.
Manny, proud warrior that he is, just cannot keep giving away natural weight advantages to serious fighters as good and powerful as Cotto.
This fight promises to be brutal, with Manny being overwhelmed and rescued by the referee somewhere around the 6th.(and no disgrace in that, either.)
Pacman's bitten off more than he can chew this time.
    Mark my words and

    God bless.

The more I think about this fight, the more I think Cotto's going to take it by decision with his underrated jab proving the decisive factor.

Even if the fight goes on past the 9th and Cotto is fighting off the backfoot people forget he is great at taht. He beat Mosley that way. By effectively countering his aggression.
They think he will be as tired as he was in teh Margarito fight. The only reason he was that tired in that fight is because Margarito never stopped chasing him the full 11 rounds.
Cotto wont be getting chased by Pac all fight. Actually i see Cotto coming forward all night until he maybe gets tired. Then even when backpeddaling he will catch Pac with counters..

Cotto's jab will offset and frustrate Pac. Pac will be forced to rush in more and more as the fight wears and be caught with crunching counters.
Cotto will eventually pressure him more as the fight continues and punish him to the arms, body, shoulders, and head. Eventually there will be a mercy stoppage between the 5-9 rd. Cotto tko.

Pacquiao has one more fight after this so you can't really say that Cotto will shorten Pacquiao's career. :verysad

....not to mention the high probability that he was being pounded on by a guy with a 'horseshoe' in his right glove.

    The cheating ****.

I don't think Manny's got the power at WW to dent Cotto. The speed will carry him for a while, but Cotto WILL catch him eventually.
