It's amazing how many people don't know this. Running a business takes so much time and energy it is hard to actually focus on the business itself sometimes.

I can see a boxer just wanting to show up to the gym, put his work in, and fight. After all, I loved just being a sales guy, closing my deals, and going home enough that I now work for a company despite carrying all my own licenses.

Most successful champs have been under the influence of some sort of promotional boxing tyrant so who are you to judge who's real and not? Now tell me you're your own boss (roll eyes)

I'm normally pretty pc on these boards but Greg... eat a dick. Lol now tell me I'm being a sensitive cotto **** rider blah blah.

Cotto can put on his big shows in New York no problem, it would be stupid to team up with this shitty TMT farce.

    Cotto is smart.

    Highest bidder wins.

    Fight.

    Repeat again.

When I first started my business I made many mistakes and worked like one of my employees, slacking, being lazy at times and not giving it 100%.

Then someone told me immortal words that stuck forever......

"Spend more time working ON your business rather than IN your business".

It took a while to sink in but I eventually understood what that meant and haven't looked back since. Sometimes you need to step back, assess, re-structure and start afresh.
