If it's actually a cw it would be complete and utter nonsense. I actually like Geale as an opponent, because he's an actual legit top10 MW no matter what Golovkin did to him, because let's face it, no mw can stand up to GGG. But not at a cw. You either are the MW champ or you aren't, you don't cut corners.
I'm Miguel 'The Gammy Knee Assassin' Cotto and I'm the Roc Nation Super Junior Middleweight (157lb) champion of the world.
MW was 158lbs during the Ketchel era/early teens Diva can't even claim that. The new Al McCoy folks expect ND contests next.
I'm actually okay with it. Cotto is fighting 20 pounds over his original weight class. I wish this was at 60 too but the fact is that he's still well over his original class and i personally thought Cotto would max out at 154.
Lol at people being mad cause if Cotto were to beat Geale, he'd already have a better resume than GGG at Middleweight.. :rofl Geale is the best win in GGG's resume and one of only 2 champions that he beat.
He shouldn't be fighting (and holding a belt hostage) at middleweight if he can't compete at the limit. Fight at 154 if 160 is too big.
Why would I be sad? I'm not the one offended or butthurt about the truth. Judging by your response, it seems like you're the sad one here. :think
atsch Cotto is a joke, Geale is good defense but not at catch-weight and who the hell wants to see Geale-Canelo or Geale-GGG if he wins?
So... according to you Geale > Murray, fighting Geale at 157 (if true) is the same as fighting Geale at 160 for MW, limpy Martinez is still a top MW, Golovkin's depth at MW doesn't count for anything on resume, and the ducking of Golovkin by most is ok because... yeah because of what? :blood
