    First of all: calm down.

Now you know what you know about Miguel, what sort of chance do you give Ricky at 147? I ask, because yesterday Ricky had no chance - none, really, that was the accepted viewpoint for many, including myself.

Now we have new information. How would Ricky Hatton do?

I'd give Hatton about a 10% chance. Seriously. Miguel would **** him up

I think Cotto would hit too hard at 147 for Ricky, 140 though might be a different story

    I am not sure.......

If he used his defensive skills I reckon he may have a chance, but P4P Ricky is far inferior to Tony in the chin department.

I will say as I have always said:

    Hatton TKO 140
    Cotto TKO 147

at 147, ricky is useless vs top guys..
but now, at 140, i'm pretty sure he beat the **** out of the Cotto of 140lbs

im not sure that hatton could take the punches margarito took all night until the 10th/11th round last night.

you have to remember altho it was an 11th rnd tko, margarito took some punishment and was outboxed for the 1st half of the fight by cotto.

not only this, cotto took margaritos power punches until the 10th/11th when he was completely broke. margo punches harder than hatton.

    imo cotto ko.

We've seen enough evidence of Ricky at 147 against a fringe top 10.

It's a completely different scenario, because Hatton does not have the chin of Margarito so Cotto's shots WILL discourage him. He does not have the stamina. And more importantly, he does not have the size and strength to hug Cotto to death.

    Cotto in 5.

cotto makes hatton his wife at 140 and 147. hatton will not be able to take cotto's body attack at all.

He still has no chance. Those punches Tony ate last night would decapitate Hatton.

I thought Hattons workrate would give Cotto problems when they were both at 140 but I think at 147 Cotto would win.
