Oh its the same ****ing thing.

Paulie hit Cotto and a lot, you can use that.

Everything else you can't. Paulie fights nothing like Floyd and doesn't have ANY qualities that Floyd does.

blue print is not how to build something when it comes to boxing...a blueprint in boxing is a gameplan..and it has to be played out and executed...so yeah its kinda the same

look at the title of your thread....you said could the paulie-cotto fight be the blueprint for a pbf-cotto fight..so you took a look at the paulie-cotto fight and think there are simialrities on how a fight with pbf-cotto would go(infact you named some)....correct??
and the only reason you named similarities between the two fights are because you think they can go the same...correct?? and if cotto implied the same game plan it might work correct?...

so basically what you said is that the blueprint that cotto used to beat paulie might work against pbf...and thats like saying the fight might play out the same

I started the thread by simply pointing out that Malignaggi is fast, not PBF fast but fast, is a goods mover, and good skilfull boxer, I also pointed out that I was simply taling on speed wise how Cotto handle the speed of Pauli, and how he countered him all night and use his left hook to a clear advantage...I did say "Well Pauli is exactly the same boxing style as PBF..." ..I was simply refereing to the ability of Cotto on handling Paulis speed

I think Cotto's win over Malignaggi is a little underated. I don't think he is on the level of Floyd, especially defensivley. Floyd would bring more to the table than Paulie. It would be a different fight altogether in my opinion.

He handled Paulies speed. So what? Paulie isn't as fast as Floyd. :patsch

Also if you want something to compare to, Judah-Cotto is perfect (the early rounds) where Cotto was being tagged by Judahs speed and stuned a lot.

Cotto had to cheat to stop Judah if he didn't the outcome might of been different.

Also - Floyd would smash Cotto. Cotto is easily hit, his defense is average and his chin is very questionable. With how easy Mosley was landing those straight right hands, I think Cotto will be in big trouble.

cotto's D isnt even average..he gets hit with everything..and mosley was throwing wide punches...just imagine what pbf's straight punches would do

I was trying to be nice so Orishman wouldn't get all crazy

Cotto struggled with Mosley, and it was a draw on my card. Floyd would tear Cotto a new *******.

I would like to see Cotto fight Mayweather, especially after watching the Malignaggi fight again. Cotto's got a lot of skills and he knows to nullify speed.

I would love to see the fight, I think Mayweather will win easy just in a different league to Cotto.

Finally someone that understnd the thread, that is not to say that Malignaggis PBF or that is at PBF level, simply a shifty guy with good skills that will give trouble to many boxers...it is a blueprint fight becuase we can clearly see what how Cotto reacted to a speedy opponent...

All these PBF fans are so ****ing touchy
