    Cotto.
    UD or late stoppage.

Oh and can we agree that Cotto accomplished MUCH more than Floyd @ WW, if Cotto gets this win? or..... rather WHEN he gets this win

Who's the chick in your avatar?

Anyways, I'm thinking the same way too: Cotto by UD or if he accumulates enough punishment on Margarito, a late TKO.

Been here but Margarito wins by stoppage before 8 rounds are in the books.

Cotto is tough and won't go early but Margarito's endurance and threshold for pain will outlast Cotto. And the workrate will begin to take it's toll on the smaller man.

Cotto will be pulled into Margarito's fight. He isn't anymore refined than Daniel Santos was and he is much smaller might I add.

I respect your POV. He may be drawn into that fight but if he stays disciplined and fights like a PBF, he can win this thing. I just can't wait to see the fight.

    Cotto is not PBF.

He has never in his career given that impression. His last few opponents were boxer/movers by trade and gave him time to think and plan his attacks.

Margarito is a brawler who will be in Cotto's face every minute of every round until it ends. The methodical approach Cotto uses will be tested so hard it will collapse. And he'll turn into a brawler no different than he did against Ricardo Torres. Only this time it isn't Torres he will be brawling with. It'll be Tony Margarito.

I just think that coming forward can work but don't you think Cotto is preparing for this? I believed there was an article out there stating Cotto is using a Margarito clone as a sparring partner.

It's amazing. Margarito is Kelson Pinto the second and Cotto is sweet pea.

The idiocy on here is astounding.

He can be preaparing for this all day and all night but when THE REAL Margo is in there with him and getting hit by Margo pain to the body head it's diffent.

Margarito is a slow starter ... if he loses early rounds to Cotto - he's going to get shutout.
