I know. I'm seriously thinking about it too. Dec. 3rd...thats more than enough time to save up. Jet blue has tickets for 200 bucks leaving from NC to NY and back.

Fitting. Cotto deserves to have the home court advantage.

I'm kind of surprised. Arum really threw the New York unions under the bus ("the unions will kill you" I believe was the quote) and said they make the cost of doing business too high last weekend. That, after he campaigned for the unions with Reid and Obama.

I figured he might get a bit of an "F U" for that and have to keep the fight in Vegas.

Oh well, good for Miguel. If he likes NYC and doesn't mind the extra taxes taken out of his check I'm happy for him.

Arum was asked about the location for Cotto vs. Margo in an interview. He said he was looking at Vegas "because the unions will kill you" in NYC and how much money it took to host a fight in NYC because of the unions.

Union guys have a lot of pride and probably didn't like getting thrown under the bus like that; especially from a guy who claimed to support them a few months ago.

I figured the fight was heading to Vegas after hearing those comments.

I read in yesterday's " Primera Hora " that Team Margarita is not too keen on MSG as the venue.
Their concern is that there will be too many Puerto Ricans there....not stating the obvious are they?

And that the flight will be too long and too cold there....what the hell !
This is most likely his last big payday after he gets crushed and he is
    worried about those elements!!!

I thought it was a taxation issue by MSG. What unions are you talking about exactly?

Seriously Cotto had several issues with the fight in Vegas...remember they changed the 147 gloves rules just so this fight would be there. And please don't tell me that Vegas wasn't full with more Mexs than PRs. I have a feeling were about to see Margo get his ass whipped. I hope Cotto lets go of all his angry on his face.
