If cotto beats foreman do any of you think this fight can be made. Who do you think would win. - please include stylistic analysis What weight do you think it should be at. Where should they fight. Would u pay to see it/how well do you think it would do on ppv. Ive been waiting for this fight for almost 3 years now and i finally see a legit opportunity here. I have no idea who would win but i think id be a candidate for fight of the year. what do you guys think. sorry if theres no question marks cuz my shift button doesnt work
hope cotto fights williams so he can expose that overrated fool who got beat by Quintana and got lucky against martinez
Not a good match up for Cotto. Cotto likes to dictate the pace of a fight, this is one opponent where you don't get that luxury ( throws to many punch from to many angles). Expect a beat down somewhere between Margarito and Pac.
First, let's see what Cotto has left against Foreman. I think that if he comes out and lands the shots he hit Pac with in the first 3-4 rounds he could slow PW down and make it a war. If not, a wide UD by Williams due to work rate.
It would be similar to the Margarito/Cotto fight but maybe end earlier as Margarito always starts slow. Cotto can't deal with fighters with good stamina and high workrates. Williams is like Margarito in this way, he'd be laying the leather on straight into the late rounds without a rest. This kills Cotto.
Great match up for cotto. PW always walking forward style combined w/ cotto's punching power would result in a round 9 ko. This would also be the big nam big $ fight PW craves. I think it would be a great fight for both of them. other than the result for PW.
Seriously, foreman sux and will even test cotto. This fight will be similar to khan vs. salita. Foreman should feel victorious if he makes it to round 3.
I don't think Cotto's power has carried up since fighting at Light Welterweight. I don't see any way he can win this fight. And I'm a big Cotto fan. If he beats Foreman I wouldn't be surprised if he calls it a day.
quintana just got caught cold in the first round last tym buh yea i think cotto would teach williams a lesson
A lot will depend on how much movement Steward has been working on with Cotto. As an amateur, Cotto was actually somewhat of a stick and move type fighter. He fought like this against Mosely in the latter rounds. If he could incorporate that into his game, he could pull a Quintana on PW.
I saw this thread and almost creamed in my draws! I thought someone heard something through the grapevine or something! What a letdown!:rofl
