People who think Cotto is damaged goods or finished are ****ing insane and they get my goat.

If you knew anything you would understand that being "prime" is not something that lasts forever, there are a stretch of fights when every fighter is in his "prime" but that doesn't mean fighting/beating someone who is not in their "prime" is not noteworthy.

All in all its no big deal and not really much to argue about. If you think having an undefeated record and/or being totally non-battle tested is the mark of a great fighter - once again, your ****ing insane.

    Its all about mental makeup.

Cotto is in a better place now then he was after the Margarito fight.

-He has a new trainer he is confident in
-He has faced his demons and defeated Margo in the rematch which had to be a confidence booster
-He is able to fight at a weight he feels good at and won't have to cut to much weight.

Before all this he was fighting with his uncle or father or something, he had like no trainer and was training himself, he got his face smashed in a fight that the opponent possibly cheated in, fought in a shaky fight vs Clottey, then got beat up by Pac. So at least mentally he is in a better place then when he fought Clottey or Pac.

Pacman aint gonna fight Floyd at 147 if he won't fight Miguel Cotto at 150. Miguel Cotto at 150 isn't 1/3rd of the fighter Floyd is at 147. Floyd at 147 is a nightmare scenario for Manny. After Floyd fights at 154 for 2 or 3 fights, Manny and his team will want Floyd to weigh 146lbs to make the fight happen. We know it's over. They don't want to fight Floyd. They're about to fight a Jr. Welterweight while Floyd is fighting a Jr. Middleweight. Who's pound for pound in this equation?

To *****s eyes, all diva's opponents are suddenly ATGs. Really pathetic.

Just take a Mayweather vs Ortiz thread and replace Ortiz with Cotto. You get the same BS.

Criticizing fighters is one thing, disrespecting them is another. Calling Cotto a ****ing "leftover" is what a ****ing clueless Pacquiao ****** fan does. Boxers can do it, but they shake hands afterwards.
