Clottey is far too overrated here. Hell, Judah was overrated for a few good months because he was scheduled to fight and lose to Cotto.

Clottey is a gatekeeper at BEST, nothing else. A guy who doesn't have the stamina to keep up the activity for more than 4 rounds or more than 20 seconds a round is NOT an elite nor top fighter.

The man had a blown up Corrales coming off two mentally and physically damaging losses to Casamayor and Castillo OUT since round 7 all the way to the 10th and he couldn't finish him.

 

Cotto is not a trash talker, he has never been and it doesn't suit him. He's just telling what he feels and is being honest regardless of how delusional some people may think it is. Don't expect him to come out and say "I'll make sure I get stopped against Pac in style".

 

Cotto is too slow for Pac...he is slower than Hatton. Much better, but slower...he will get KO'd within 4.

 

Damn, Cotto is doin some serious **** talking. I hope he's ready to back it up. It's a shame he felt the need to throw dirt on Hatton and Hoya in order boost up his confidence. Those guys aren't even invovled in this fight.

Throwing dirt on someone doesn't mean that you're lying. However, he did put those two down and they're not even involved in the fight.

 

I hear you. But really, you can fight fire with fire, and I'm glad to see Cotto breaking out of his robot mold for a second.

If Roach wants to keep running his mouth about how Cotto is essentially shot because he's been fighting hard as nails full welterweights, it's also Cotto's right to point out some of the reasons why Manny had such an easy time with Oscar and Ricky.

 

Cotto is free to say whatever he wants. I just hope he's prepared to back it up. He bascially said Margo had not shot against him and then...well, we all know what happened.

There's absolutely no proof of that. Margarito was cleared by the Vegas state athletic commisioner. They don't play around in Vegas. Those guys are very dilligent, and uphold their duties to the highest level. It's a shame people try to imply that Vegas commision didn't do their job in that fight without any proof. Saying Margo loaded his gloves in that fight is a pure assumption. We all know what happens when you assume; you make an ass out of you.:yep

 

Said the same about Margarito, I think.

 

I doubt Cotto even said those words. Thats why I dont get caught up in the hype.

Cotto will stop Pacman though.
