Apparently they're fighting on sept 13, might be wrong. Regardless, if cotto is fighting lee it better not be ppv.
Adam Booth and Andy Lee have both said on twitter that they are not fighting Quillin. Quillin v Korobov had 30 days from July 1st to reach an agreement or it goes to purse bids.
Ironically enough, due to the size disparity between Lee and Kid Chocolate, Cotto is not only a higher paying, more meaningful fight, but likely a more winnable one for Lee as well. I'd be shocked if the contract weight wasn't sub-160. I still think Lee's on the verge of being washed up despite the win over Jackson, but Cotto is a more winnable fight nonetheless. Quillin gets left in the lurch now to fight a much riskier Korobov for less money. He's going to have to up his pace to exploit Korobov's lack of conditioning. Technically, Korobov's the better fighter and he's got the ability to take advantage of some of Quillin's sloppier habits that have been developing from fighting guys who can't hurt him.
