Would be quite an excellent match. Who'd win?

Cotto TKO10 after suriving a scare or two. Eventually he'd break Berto down.

Pretty sure Cotto would outbox Berto. He outboxed Mosley for christ's sake.

Berto's wild offensive tactics and speed make it a good, competitive fight early on. Then as the rounds go on Cotto's superior technical ability will show and he'll begin hammering the **** out of Andre Berto. After a brutal battering, Cotto stops Berto with 7 to 9 rounds.

That's the way I see it.

Cotto has always been so prone to drama even in some of his best wins, it's hard to be sure but I think it's clear he and Berto are different classes of fighters and Cotto should be the clear favorite.

Cotto still has enough left to beat Berto. Simply put, he's a much better fighter.

Berto is a poor-man's Mosley and he hasn't done anything to convince me he can beat a fighter of Cotto's calibre.

One thing I think Cotto will be able to exploit is Berto's fragile chin. He's been dropped and also hurt several times in his career any time he's faced a halfway decent fighter, and he's yet to face a serious banger. Cotto might not have one punch KO power, but he certainly hits a lot harder than any of Berto's previous opponents. That's why I think Cotto can stop him as early as the 7th round.

I don't really see how he's even that so far.

I don't really see the comparison with Mosley either.

Cotto beats 'Bitchboy' Berto late on.

Cotto wears Berto down and stops him late.

Fair enough ... he has the potential to be a poor-man's Mosley.

Maybe Berto will prove me wrong but I just don't see anything really "special" in him.
