I think Bradley could outbox him similar to how he did Peterson with Cotto stalking him the whole fight
Cotto has more speed, more power and better combinaiton punching and about equal foot work. Bradley's the better inside fighter but I doubt it would be enough to steel a descision from Cotto.
I'm going with Bradley, cotto doesn't do well against fast fighters. That is in part down to his stance and guard.
Cotto had the perfect style to beat Bradley (if we're talking about the Cotto who fought Bailey, etc. and not Malignaggi and the guys at the end of his 140 pound days). Timing with the jab, serious body punching, accuracy, combination punching, better technique, and strength/excellent power.
Cotto should be able to KO Bradley (remember what he did to Corley and Malignaggi and Quintana) BUT you also have take into consideration that Cotto wasn't his best until he came to 147.. at 140 Cotto was weigth drained and susceptible to everything.... he was always getting kd
I don't see what speed you posters are talking about. Cotto would walk him down and even stop him late.
:yep I could see that and Bradley has great stamina. Cotto gases in every fricken fight almost. He'd get outworked in the late rounds and maybe lose some of the earlier ones Round 6 is magic [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkHqh0tJwD0[/ame]
Early 140 days I think Cotto would absolutely outclass him. Bradley has a chance later when Cotto was struggling to make the weight and stay on his feet.
They both have excellent timing, and I believe Cotto would start to land the harder shots as the fight went on. Cotto only gassed whenever he was pressured to the limit, and otherwise came on stronger as the fight went on. Bradley isn't going to try to force the fight inside against someone as big and hard-hitting as Cotto (or shouldn't), and he'd try to out-speed him from the outside. Cotto is troubled by speed only when accompanied by odd angles and a big punch; Bradley doesn't really bring either. His timing with the jab would start disrupting Bradley's offense, and Cotto would start to cut the ring off mid-fight as Bradley gets confused as to what he should do since he can't hurt Cotto, and Cotto would start landing his combinations and body work. If he doesn't stop him late, which is possible since Bradley's tough and defensively sound, he wins a close but clear decision. This would be a good fight, but Cotto is much more polished than the likes of Peterson.
