Cotto deserves another easy one after all of his previous wars. I feel bad for Chavez Jr.

Cotto has fought only the toughest of competitors all his career. Look at the names being mentioned for next fight, a Pac or Margo rematch. If he choses to have a warm up bout before hand so be it. He has earned that right.

And for what it's worth I think it would be a fan friendly affair for four rounds before Jr's ribs pack in.

I agree. It would be a far more realistic matchup and a good test for Jr., but I don't know Foreman's ETA from the knee surgery.

I'd take Foreman UD if it ever came to be.

It makes sense, to me Arum knows that chavez stocks have hit its peak and he's ready to cash them in before they go back down. This is the highest chavez is gonna go so why not make a million dollar fight and get paid now.

This potential fight would be a waste of time for me as a Cotto fan. There are plenty of legitimate and compelling options for Miguel at 47-54 but Jr. isn't one of them.

Cotto deserves this fight and if you're a fan you'll be happy for him..a nice easy payday that will prolong his career a little bit longer.. all you guys wanting him to fight margarito, martinez, pavlik and all the top guys dont understand that in boxing your body only has enough for so many tough fights

Smart fight for Cotto considering the other guys lurking around that weight.

yay, another all Top Rank match up that sucks donkey dick besides the fact Jr. will get stomped out. Can someone name another promoter in boxing that has been this antisocial in the sport? Not even Don King has pissed away and screwed the world out of seeing great fights at the rate that Bob Arum has and does.
