    Just got it through on my face book through his fan page saying the fight is off and berto is among the replacements for cotto

    Top two possible opponents atm are Cintron and Martirosyan. Apparently Manny Steward doesn't want the Cintron fight :think

    I've always thought Cintron would be a bit of a pain for Cotto. Maybe it's something to do with him and Manny. I don't think Martirosyan is ready for Cotto but either fight would be entertaining.

    Agreed on both counts.

    I'd prefer both to Chavez Jr. though, so its not bad news. :good

    Berto would be ideal. About time Berto faced a true top notch Welter. His welterweight reign has been shite.

    Edit: I've realised I have skimmed some of this thread. Is Berto slated for Chavez or Cotto?

    Think it's Cotto with Berto moving up to 154. Berto needs this fight like a hole in the head still a lot to do before he is near cotto's and he doesn't seem to be struggling at Welter.

    Would like to see Cintron get another shot but he really doesn't deserve it, I think he might be a nightmare for Cotto but Cintron folds under any pressure and body work so could be a entertaining fight close to 50/50 imo.
