Don't you think you're being too harsh on Cotto?

After the beating from Margo . . . the guy needs a slack . . . an easier fight. And anybody who's takin a fight with at fighter rated by WBC and WBO as an easy fight needs props. :deal

 

Soto-Karass has improved a LOT since then. That's like judging Oleg Maskaev based on losing to prime Oliver McCall a dozen fights into his career. He's not going to win, but he's a more legitimate opponent than, say, Alfonso Gomez, and stylistically it would be a much more entertaining fight than Cotto-Cintron.

People are overrating the hell out of Cintron. Cintron is no more of a threat to Cotto than Soto-Karass.

Cintron is a really bad fight for Cotto. Gotta have a good chin and be the aggressor and you can beat Cintron. I see Cotto getting Koed if they fight.

I'll tell u what happened. He knew Clottey would beat Cotto. So he pick a safer fighter in Cintron who is mentally weak in the ring with top fighters. :yep Cintron still has a punchers chance though.
