I don't know why you guys turned this thread into a PBF hater threat ... its about Cotto and Clottey ... no one is even talking about Floyd ... but once someone talks about an undefeated fighter ... FLoyd has to get brought up.

    What a shame guys ...

Its about Cotto and Clottey ... not a guy who's retired.

The whole purpose of fighting is to win every fight to stay undefeated. You name me one fighter that didn't want to go out with his "O"

    agreed 100%

what would be the point of having a record ... thats the goal when you're a fight is to stay undefeated ... no fighter will tell you that they are cool with a loss.

So in other words, you would be the first of his fans to jump off the band wagon. :-( Some fan you are. I ride with my faves through thick and thin whether it be in sports or in other aspects of life.

I basically said I would be dissapointed if he came back to the sport.
The way he left was as close to perfect as you can get, coming back would just be dumb.

If any fighter is okay with taking a loss or not having an undefeated record, that fighter should try baseball.

AM fan? :huh Never was one.

Margarito could dissapear for all i care. i never liked the guy in the first place and never was impressed by him.

Back to the topic if Clottey can push back Cotto, then Cotto is in trouble. Cotto might be able to outwork Clottey to a decision.

I agree also that the goal should be to presever your 0 as much as possible. But just because you lose it, doesnt mean your ****, overrated, exposed etc.

Cotto is gonna be throwing all these punches, but their gonna hit gloves and arms. Clottey is gonna land the cleaner, more meaningful shots. If the fight is close, Cotto is gonna get it regardless of what the fans think.

Not at all. It just means that you're in a category with the rest.

True. Clottey has good D. This is by no means an easy fight for Cotto. Still props for taking it and it would be the first unification fight in WW in a while.

losing your 0 is a big deal ... with losing you can become comfortable with losing or accepting defeat no matter how it comes.

take DLH for instance ... you see it all the time, every since the loss to Tito ... he just seems comfortable with the verdict and some times looks like he's expecting to lose.

The same can be said for Tito, RJJ, and Shane Mosley.
