Cotto vs Clottey a strong possibility ... this summer @ MSG

True. Honestly, this would be the best time to have this fight. All the hype that would be behind this fight. The first fight overall was great, and on top of that it will have all this hype and this time it'll be bad blood. But you know how boxing promoters are, they believe in tune ups first.

if cotto wins over margarito now, then the trilogy can be set-up..

cotto doesn't challenge margarito...i wonder why..but i'll excuse him if he faces either mosley or clottey

 

Unfortunitly we probably won't see a rematch for a another year if ever. Cotto has publicly said that Margarito should be banned everywhere and not just the U.S. By accepting a fight iwith Margo n P.R., Mexico, or anywhere else he'd be contradicting himself so I would be surprised if it were to happen anytime soon.

 

it would make more sense if cotto fights margarito again instead of crying cheating...face it or not, he was not able to KO the guy even if he put up the best first 6 rounds of his boxing career...

 

I hope he reconsiders and fights him in P.R. We'll see how it all plays out after the Clottey fight. If he's able to beat Clottey, who gave Margo fits in their fight, Cotto would have that to encourage him not to mention having watched Margo get dismantled by Shane whom he'd already defeated.

 

he wants to fight PBF, yet he doesn't want to big the elite fighters...i would still consider clottey not the way to get PBF's attention..
