I think Berto will face Collazo or perhaps worst case scenario, Delvin Rodriguez.

I might be paranoid but I think he will pull as many strings as he can to give Cotto the victory. Bigger Market, fought better opponents, bigger name etc etc. plus as is evidenced by his negligence towards Clottey in general. Clottey was like the 3rd or 4th option here for this fight.

Clottey needs to KO Cotto and leave no questions. A tall order to say the least.

Do you guys think this fight is only being made because of the distance Cotto has made between himself and top rank? Do you also think this is Arum way of kind of cashing out on Cotto or even in hopes that he loses?

Cotto wont lose, he guy is the real deal. He can box, punch this is a special kid. Should be undefeated and should have KO'D Margarito if not for the shenanigans. I saw Cotto live at the Garden for the first time vs Jennings, Cotto is something special for sure. Clottey is a plodder who throws and waits. Cotto by KO mid to late rds

Picking Cotto by decision. Clottey will show good signs early but he simply can't keep it up as he doesn't have the best stamina and to beat Cotto you need activity/stamina. It doesn't really matter how hard he can punch as long as he keeps it up, if he can then I give him a chance but because I know he can't I'm sticking to Cotto by decision. Clottey has a good enough chin to handle punches from Cotto, not really sure about him taking the body shots well enough, especially in the late rounds.

As usual, Cotto is getting vastly overrated. No way should he be getting damn near 70% of the vote here. I'm taking Clottey. Cotto is a good fighter, but Josh just may be the toughest matchup that Cotto has gone against. Clottey is straight getting slept on here.

Don't think it's a case of being overrated for Cotto, at least not to me as I explained why I'm picking him.

Clottey waits too much in there and that's exactly what Cotto wants and when he shines, Mosley(who is far better than Clottey, even at his age) waited against Cotto and you saw the result, when he was aggressive he hurt Cotto and put him in trouble.

I just don't think Joshua can keep up the pressure and activity, he just lacks the stamina to do so and if he waits he gets outboxed. Mosley got outboxed so I won't be surprised one bit if it happens to Clottey.

Also an important note here is Joshua's hands, if he wants to seriously put Cotto in trouble and KEEP him in trouble then he needs a healthy hand, with him having trouble and injuries there expect the activity to be even less.

I don't know, all of this can turn out to be pointless when the fight is on but I'm just making my prediction based on his fighting style.

finally the fight I have been waiting for. clottey by KO and will finally show everyone he is the top welterweight (he will be undisputed champ). Clottey - better than a prime ike quartey. If you dont believe that, well just wait and see then.
