Cotto vs Clottey poll!

They had put about 6 polls about who won the fight and in all Cotto end up winning by a really good margin so is no doubt Cotto win the fight by most fans. even the press agrees if you read articles, the vast mayority by a point or the knockdown.

I thought clottey edged it, he landed more punches applyed pressure most the fight cotto ran near all of it and had a few flurrys, without the cut who knows he could of done better

 

Clottey edged it for me too... i dont see how anyone can give cotto the 10th, 11th could have gone either way and Cotto CLEARLY won the 12th... i gave it to clottey by a point.

P.S. i was at the fight which was my first ever and it was incredible. Being there actually made me appreciate how badly Cotto was running in the last few rounds... i understand why clottey didnt throw too much.. didnt have a chance to get set.

I didn't see the fight but Cotto was awarded a SD.

 

after rewatching the fight it was a draw as far as rnd (6 a piece) but bacause of the 1st rnd being 10-8 Cotto takes the slight edge on my card.

When i watched it saturday i was convinced that Clottey had won but it makes a huge difference wheu u watch it next day, quitely with noone around you influencing your descision.

Also ive been reading that a lot of you think that Cotto shoulve been penalized for the "body slam", given that way the judges scored it, Cotto woudlve still won so...Overall good fight, Cotto showed a lot of heart and if he could improve his defense a little i give him a good chance at beating Pac,

On fight night, I defo thought Clottey was jobbed and deserved the nod.
But after re-watching it again, I have to admit he gave this fight away.
(IMO, It should be required for judges/Ref's to know both fighter's tendencies inside out....)

Cotto for me. Some people are saying that he ran in the 10th, 11th and 12th but to me he outboxed Clottey (who did nothing) in those rounds.

I was one that thoguth Clottey won on saturday night, but, i was watching it with 10 other people and a bunch of liquor :hey, watching it by myself and scoring it rd by rd i gave it to Cotto.

Sat night watching it as a whole, yes Clottey looked like he won
