Cotto Vs Clottey: Why It Has To Happen & Their War Of Words.

    First of all....

    Cotto Has 4 Realistic options

    Shane
    Clottey
    Berto
    Cintron


    with that said...

    shane has already said he does not want to fight cotto in MSG so tere is no way that the fight is going to happen

    Berto has a belt and it would be nice for them to start the unification process but this fight will make more sense later on .... like next years pr parade

    Cintron would probably be the best match up as far as it being an easier fight for cotto to win... but he doesnt have a belt and everybody and their mother knwos cintron is soft & wack ... basically nobody would want to see it.... i know this pr parade fight will be a ppv.... i wouldnt order that

    clottey has a belt but is a very tough matchup.. i dont even feel its fair to call him a live under dog because the fight is pretty damn close... maybe not 50 % 50 % but its close


    I personally think the best option would be clottey..... he has a belt which will start up the unification process & this will be a fight that atleast hard core fans have been & will be hungry to see.... if cotto can beat clottey he shouldnt have to hard of a time collecting all the belts which is something we all would like to see.... im not sure how big of a prioritiy it is to the people with power.... but fighting clottey would be a step in the correct direction....

    im not sure what would create a better environment in msg.. cotto vs clottey or cotto vs cintron... cotto & cintron would be cool because it would be pr vs pr... but cotto & clottey would be cool cause it woudl be the black vs spanish thing which is always popular... plus clottey fights out of nyc so he might have a little fan base out there...

    yea i agree this will be an amazing fight i hope it comes off. i really hope he doesnt fight cintron, clottey is right he is a *****. with clottey you know we will see a war, it will be a tough match up but i can see cotto winning by UD.
    From what i heard, Cotto has the final say and i will think hes going to go for clottey after he called him out face to face.

    Man, you can get rather long winded can't you?

    Based on what Cotto's response was yesterday....the Clottey fight is next on the agenda....
    It appears that Clottey has gotten Cotto's attention....especially when he walked over to Cotto's post fight interview and called him out.

    That sucks...Cotto/Mosley is the only match that matters and was finally going to give us a TRUE Welterweight champ....

    DOesn't matter what Cotto says. He's not pulling the strings. Promoter is...and he wants Cintron and then Pacquiao.
    Clottey will end up retiring champion while only fighting unknown mandatory.

    Not necessarily,a Clottey fight is a good option.
    Besides his mando is Hlatswayo,that a good fight itself.

    Funny thing Clottey runing around calling people pussys. He's the one that was whining about hurting his hands against Margarito. Now , Clottey expects all the top Welters to stop whatever they're doing to accomodate him. His big chance will come if he keeps winning.

    I think Cotto will end up fighting Clottey. Why? Cause Arum is pissed off about him possibly leaving Top Rank, and may try to punish him with the biggest risk/lowest reward fight.
