Dzinziruk has stated he wants to fight exclusively in the U.S. from here on out (signed with Gary Shaw and got out of the prison sentence that is Universum contracts).

I've just finished watching him beat down Daniel Dawson. How do you think a unification match would go between the 2?

It's tough for me to pick, because like a lot of Universum fighters Dzinziruk's resume is lacking. But that jab is godly, plus he has a 5 inch height advantage and I would assume a pretty sizable reach advantage but I haven't looked into it.

Dzinziruk is up there with Martinez and Williams as 154lb talents that Cotto needs to be kept away from at all costs.

Feed him guys like Angulo, Julio, Cintron and Bundrage (after Bundrage knocks the burnt-out husk of Spinks into retirement and picks up a belt) instead, and he'll keep on winning and earning handsome checks.

I think as long as a fighter doesn't have a big punch, a decisive speed advantage, or chin+pressure, Cotto will be fine. I don't think Dzin**** has any of these enough to keep Cotto in check.

That Dzinzurik Jab would end up destroying Cotto's confidence and gameplan throughout the fight.

Cotto would eat the jab all night

Those are in his "known weaknesses" column. Cotto's experienced in the ring to be sure, but he hasn't seen it all. He hasn't seen a perfect jab. "A Perfect Jab" could make its way onto that column soon enough...

Cotto eats the jab all night, there's not a ton of action or exchanges, but Cotto carries the cards by virtue of coming forward all night and pressing what action there is. The fight doesn't do much for the standings of either fighter.

    Good reply.

I don't think I've seen him against a perfect jab.. I just don't think Dzin has enough power. Of course, I could be wrong.

I think Sergi beats him down with that stiff jab and gets the late stoppage. the Razor cuts him up. matter affact the only one i see giving him problems is Cintron from a styles point of view. i think he tears up williams and Martinez. and no way will the Angulo fight get made. Shaw will not put him anywhere near Sergi

    Great fight!

My money would go on a Dzinziruk TKO, I believe he'd punish Cotto at range with his strong movement, stamina and jab. He is also a lot fresher than Cotto. I really hope this fight gets made.

I haven't seen enough of him but in his last fight he looked legit. I am not sure cotto wants anything to do with him and his cutting jab. I would love to see Cotto vs Angulo!! :bbb

What makes you think Cotto wouldn't dominate the fight with his jab? Cotto right now has one of the best jabs in boxing, plus his left hook and his body shots. This would be a nightmare for Dzinziruk. Cotto TKO in the 6th
