Cotto vs Floyd: Would you still want to see this fight?

That's funny. The way you use the word "quit" insinuates you're trying to belittle Cotto's performance against Margarito. When Mayweather himself didn't have the guts to even sign the contract to face that very same fighter for a career high payday, let alone even step in the ring with him. Cotto "quit" after being a participant in a fight of the year candidate. Mayweather quit at the negotiation tables.

Margo was offered against Mayweather to take place on the Judah-Mayweather card as the replacement to Judah after he lost to Baldomir but he didn't accept.

Margo shunned him off, Mayweather did it right back. And he got a higher payday anyway.

 

What does it change who you were talking to? Obviously, you are using you brain (like you asked me to do) most of the time but tell me, do you decide to drop it when you talk to another kind of person?

i just watched mayweather vs castillo 1 for the first time. OMG mayweather actually has 1 loss. He did not win this fight. Don't get me wrong, i like mayweather but he did not win this fight. I can't believe the official scorecards were so inaccurate. It's not even one of those 50/50 fights...castillo won this fight hands down.

Despite the way he talks, Mayweather does not see any fight as being easy. Thats why he is (was) one of the best in terms or preparation. But i agree with you, too bad he never proved he could beat them.

Cotto is still arguably the best fight at WW, I still think it isn't much between him and Margo maybe it just wasn't Cotto's night. In a rematch I think Cotto would win.

Look at any undefeated fight and they all have a few fights were it was arguable who won.

 

Agree. I also think cotto would win in the rematch. Cotto didn't condition himself well enough. We saw what happen in the first 6 rounds. He will condition himself to outbox margo for 12 in the next rematch. Should be good though.
