Yuri Foreman's manager said on another site that Foreman wants the fight against PR sensation Miguel Cotto. He said Yuri is willing to wait until June to fight Cotto at 154. Yuri was suppose to fight on the Pac-May undercard, but, said a fight with Cotto is too good to pass up. Yuri is a NY native and has a good fan base there in Brooklyn. Cotto fighting in June on the eve of the PR Day Parade vs. Foreman will be huge in MSG.:hat

This would be a decent fight. I'm hoping as well that Cotto keeps fighting, I still think he's got a lot to offer.

It would be a nice feather in cotto's cap to become a 4-time world champ in 3 weight classes, even if foreman isn't all that good. still, im kind of liking foreman by decision here. 154 might slow up cotto and foreman has nice movement and great stamina.

I used to think the same of Foreman but he has proved to be getting better. Actually a very risky fight for Cotto. Foreman can box very well.

Perfect fight for Cotto. Maybe shows he wants a rematch with Pac?

Foreman isn't really that good, the only problem I see here for Cotto is the weight, and size difference. Cotto is easily the better boxer
but don't know how much he has left after margarito and pacquiao.

Cotto needs a new trainer like emmanuel stewart and a warm up fight before moving up to fight the 154 champ

and the stupid post of the week awards goes toooo................

who the **** has foreman fought...cotto has shown his skill against 15 opponents that were better than any of foremans and please don't say santos...he fought like **** and is done...and "the messenger" beta foreman's ass...I would put foreman near zab judah on his best day and what happened there???

I know cotto has fought great fighters but is it necasarry to fight jennings and foreman for belts...the amount of hate floyd gets and this dude is gonna grab titale of those guys...i wish cotto would just fight a going away fight with Margo...he would make a ton of money, fight a rusty margo and really have nothing to lose...it would be a great fight to watch and a great sendoff to a great champion...who gives a **** bout yuri foreman
