why you guys think foreman takes this? jus wondering cuz ive seen his previous fights and i see nothing that would discourage cotto not size reach height nor his in and out boxing style,i think this is more of a warmup fight for cotto

Hard to say because we don't know what Cotto has left and if/how much Emmanuel Stewart helped him improve. Either way, Foreman is a tough matchup for him and I still favor him to win.

Cotto is in for a rude awakening. Foreman will be too fast and mobile for Cotto. Cotto will be even slower and more plodding at 154. Foreman is going to potshot him early and then start to sit on his punches and try to hurt Cotto late. It's in New York, and the judges will be favoring Cotto. However, Foreman should do enough to win a clear decision.

I think Cotto might win it, but I will not be surprised at all if Foreman turns out to win the fight clearly. But if Cotto has the speed and the power, he will take it.

Typically, guys who can withstand Cotto's assault and pressure him are the ones who give him the most trouble. Feather fisted and moderate punching guys who implement a lot of lateral movement tend to get destroyed to the body and eventually beaten up. So I'd stylistically this fight favors Cotto.

But with the move up in weight and size discrepancy, it may be a little tougher than it should be. Though it shouldn't be tough enough where Cotto should be in danger of losing. But if he does, indeed, happen to struggle or ends up losing , he should strongly consider retirement.
