If Cotto can get on the inside then he's got this in the bag. Not sure how highly to rate Foreman's win over Santos could Santos looked **** and out of shape if we're being honest.

However, Cotto's last few fights have all being tough, even in his early days he had a few wars and now he's stepping up to fight a naturally bigger opponent. Could it be that Foreman is catching Cotto at just the right time? Absolute **** of a fight to pick, I'm still undecided.

As I said yesterday I think Yuri Foreman will win.

Cotto is coming up from 147lbs having previously been a champion at 140lbs. Honestly the only advantages I see for Cotto in this fight are big fight expirience and the crowd. Despite Foreman being from New York, the crowd will be pro Cotto.

I am going with the upset. Foremans style is perfect to beat Cotto. Cotto has success agaisnt fighters that stand infront of him that he is physically bigger and tougher than. Cotto's best performances came agaisnt Quintana, Torres, Gomez, Urkal all fighters that stood infront of him. He has struggled agaisnt mobile fighters like Pacquiao, Judah and Malignaggi, and agaisnt bigger fighters like Clottey and Margorito.

Foreman is as mobile as Pacquiao and Malignaggi. Cotto does not get around the ring quick enough and the added weight will also slow him down. he will not be able to hit Foreman cleanly enough to cause him problems. Foreman will be able to use his speed and world class jab to keep him at bay all night.

Foreman does not have a great knockout record but hes is not a light puncher. He is just not an aggresive fighter. He doesn't sit down and load up on his punches and chooses to box his way to decisions. In his last fight agaisnt Santos, who was a decent champion with wins over Margorito. Foreman dominated him and was able to knock him down, something supposed big punchers have been unable to do. Foreman's power comes from his quick hands as he is able to catch opponents by suprise. This will be extremly effective agaisnt a fighter like Cotto that lacks head movement.

Like Clottey and Margorito, Foreman has physical advantages over Cotto. He is the natural Light Middleweight, has a 4 inch height and 5 inch reach advantage. This will again allow Foreman to keep the aggressive Cotto of him.

One advantage i pointed out for Cotto is expirience. For one this may count agaisnt him as he has had allot of hard fights and may not have much left in the tank. Also despite not having an impressive resume, Foreman was a top amateur so he is not a complete novice.

I see the early rounds being close and then Foreman pulling away. If Cotto does win it will be a controversial decision. At the end of the day allot of money can be made from a Cotto vs Margorito re-match.

*I think your reasons are sound, and it's a good pick. But I think you're wrong about a couple of things...*

I remove my previous props to Rob because he ripped off someone else. Again.

Cotto had to break Quintana down because he was constantly moving. The only reason he stood in front of Cotto was because Cotto cut off the ring and caught him to the body. Until that point it had been very competitive.

Haven't seen it in a while but, against Judah, he took him to school after the second round. Judah's speed kept him in it, but that was a masterclass in timing, distance and the use of the jab to set up hurtful shots. Wouldn't say he struggled at all.

Malignaggi took a hellacious beating in that fight from a clearly weight-drained Cotto. That fight probably should have been stopped. Even Smoger said it was the most courageous he'd ever seen a fighter in the ring - because he took a beating.

Margarito beat Cotto with pressure. Cotto likes to fight at his own pace but, even when he was being pressed, he did excellent work for six rounds.

Against Clottey it was more the inch-long gash above Cotto's eye that made it difficult for him than Clottey's size. He was timing him, getting good shots in, but with the cut he just couldn't defend himself so well. Plus Clottey's a nightmare for anyone but Pacquaio it seems.

Cotto can slip punches and he does have better defence than he's given credit for, but Foreman will cause him problems. I'm not really sure how to pick - Cotto is a far better fighter than Foreman, with a better calibre of opposition. But Foreman has physical advantages that may make that hard to tell.

Look to Cotto's amateur pedigree - there's not a style he hasn't fought. I'm hoping for it to be competitive with Cotto winning a close decision.

Imagine, Rob plagiarising someone else's hard work... he's never done that before, like posting someone else's article and not attributing it to them.

Is Dwyer the black dude that was eerily accurate about Katsidis-Mitchell (other than when the stoppage would happen)?
