Garcia is a big kid. He is still only 25, is a massive light welter, and has actually fought at the welter limit several times. He will probably naturally grow up into light middle in due time, after probably camping out at 147 for a while. If Cotto is still around by then and not shot to bits, then sure, this would be a barrel of fun.

No more tinkering with divisions and creating new weight limits just to accommodate particular match-ups. One guy can boil down or the other comes up. All the way up. If neither is feasible, then oh well, tough ****, we don't get to see it. Enough already.

The full blooded Rican kneels and gets stopped because the other is only half rican and has a black or irish in him and is proven to have a granite chin compared to kneegal cotto where he got wobbled and knockdown plenty of times.

 

I know this is a fantasy matchup but why would Cotto put his body through that for someone with no following?
