Cotto's not only a champ and at mw, he's supposed to be THE champ. lineal . kingpin. blahblah, he doesn't get a pass. he must fight the best of the division, which mean other champs. anything else is unnaceptable

 

i don't mind the bout itself but suppose Geale wins, Golovkin would be his WBC mandatory, but a fight no one wants to see again, esp. Geale. i'd rather Cotto face Heiland, new blood.

Watch Geale fight Cotto, win the "lineal" middleweight title ... and then purists who called Cotto the "real" champ would have to then argue that Geale is the "real" champ ... after Golovkin destroyed him.
