In general Geale would be a very respectable opponent for Cotto BUT fighting a guy that Golovkin just knocked out when GGG is regarded as the best MW by everyone in addition to being your mandatory for the lineal claim your holding is rather pathetic.
Fighting the leftovers of GGG? Is it also a first great test for Cotte then? Is Geale still a bum or now a real contender du to the fact the fight is against Cotto and not against GGG? Cotto you are a joke and you know it best, better then your stupid wannabe fans :deal
Fans that KSAB and aint just E/EU or Russian or WHITE haters ALL know that Geale is a top 5 MW, and a top 10 in ANY era. Cotto fighting him is b@llsy, regardless of how GGG destroyed him. He's only got 1 real loss, and that's to an ATG in GGG. His other Ls to Barker and Mundine were arguably wins.
The skeptic in me says that Cotto's team has some inside info about Geale if he is being considered as an opponent.
If Geale were to win he would have won WBA, IBF and now WBC titles, and be lineal champion. But he has to get the fight first.
It's a bull**** fight. If I may refresh memories, Geale, Macklin, Murray etc. had tough fights with Sturm, Sturm isn't that good. It's the same Sturm who got son'd by old ass Castillejo back in the day. The same Sturm that refused to fight legit contenders way back when Hopkins was champ at middleweight. Sturm only takes fights with guys he thinks he can beat. Geale isn't that good. The middleweight division is just really weak right now. Cotto would be better served rematching Clottey.
Geale is complete utter garbage, quit immediately against Golovkin and has a glass jaw. Fukn massive lol at Geale saying he wants to fight Golovkin again he was Pisin his pants in that fight.
The winner likely to fight Golovkin.. ...except if it is Cotto who will probably continue to avoid Golovkin
